You can clean faux fur easily by hand washing it. Faux fur is made of synthetic fibres, so although it's easy to wash at home, avoid applying too much heat to the fabric when cleaning, as this can damage it.
Use a stain remover bar to pretreat your faux fur handbags to remove stubborn stains. Then, pour two capfuls of gentle detergent into a basin filled with cold water and soak your faux fur bag for 30 minutes. Once complete, rinse in cold water to remove any leftover soap.
Press out the water with a towel, then lie your bag on an airer to dry for 24 hours, away from direct heat or sunlight.
If your bag has any detailing or a structured lining, we wouldn't recommend soaking it. In this case, treat the stubborn stains with a stain remover bag, rinse where you can and pat dry.
