Curate A Killer Look With The Rainbow Coat YOU Need To Own This Season!
Hotly anticipated, Season 4 of psychological thriller ‘YOU’ has just launched on Netflix.

Fans of the show have been waiting with bated breath to see just what will become of Joe Goldberg after the pulse-racing Season 3 finale, which saw him go head-to-head with disturbed wife Love Quinn before fleeing for Paris.
But as Season 4 kicks off in London, it’s not just the location change that has sent viewers in a spin, but more Joe’s (or Jonathan Moore as he’s known) uncharacteristic coat choice.
Read on to learn more about Joe’s style, why we love it at Jayley and what to expect from YOU Season 4.
What do we know about Joe Goldberg’s coat?
Let’s start by setting the scene. YOU Season 4 starts in a lecture hall where Joe works as an English professor. All seems well; he’s moved on with life and lives in swanky South Kensington.

Trying to break old habits, Joe spends his time with his books, but when he saves his new neighbour Kate Galvin from a mugging, her partner, arrogant party boy Professor Malcolm Harding, pulls him into their upper-class, social elite world as a way to repay him.
Harding drags unwilling Joe to a party for the high-climbing social elite of South Kensington at Sundry House in SoHo, where he is spotted wearing a fabulous, faux-fur rainbow coat.
Joe is first pictured wearing the coat halfway through episode one of season four, “Joe Takes A Holiday”. At this point in the episode, Joe – referred to frequently as Jon Boy, derived from his new alias – is a little worse for wear and can be seen adorning the coat over his otherwise classic, understated lecturer look.
*Spoiler Alert* – in the following scenes, Joe wakes up at home with the coat draped over him before finding the dead body of his neighbour, Malcolm Harding, on his kitchen table.
With Joe’s history, all signs point to him, but could this statement coat be the clue that leads us to a killer?
Although we can’t tell you who the coat belongs to, we can help you steal Joe’s surprisingly fashion-forward style, as the coat featured is none other than our Gaga Faux Fur Striped Rainbow Coat.

What is ‘YOU’ about?
So now we know all about Joe’s rainbow coat, it’s time to take a closer look at the series.
For those that may not have watched YOU before, we thought we’d recap the first three seasons, so you can jump straight in and check out season four’s trends for yourself (without too many spoilers along the way!).
YOU is a psychological thriller following the life of Joe Goldberg, played by Penn Badgley. Based on the books ‘You’ and ‘Hidden Bodies’ by Caroline Kepnes, the series follows charming obsessive Joe who obsessively inserts himself into the lives of women he is fixated on.
YOU – Season One
In season one, while working as a New York bookstore manager, Goldberg falls for Guinevere Beck, an aspiring writer. From scrutinising her social media to stalking her, he carefully removes all objects from the path that leads them together, with deadly consequences.
YOU – Season Two

Season two follows Joe to Los Angeles, where he escapes his past and falls for chef Love Quinn. Although he’s running from a past life, he can’t stop his obsessive tendencies from catching up with him as he strives to make this relationship succeed at the expense of all others that try to stop it.
YOU – Season Three
By season three, you’d expect a changed Joe. He’s now married to Love, and they’re raising their first child, Henry, in the suburbs of North Carolina. However, although he aims to be the perfect husband and dad, he can’t stop himself from falling for the woman next door, which leads to a whole new set of problems now that Love, plagued with a fierce temper, has him all figured out.
What will come of Joe Goldberg in season four, and will his past finally catch up with him?

You can stream all seasons of YOU on Netflix now to find out.
